Smithy fold is situated in Dentdale in the North West of England.Though Dentdale is in Cumbria it lies at the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Most people come via the M6, take junction 37 and head for Sedbergh, turning right for Dent 100 yards after the 30mph signs. In the centre of Dent turn right past the George and Dragon and we are 1.4 miles along the road on the right hand side.
